Is it the end of the road for Marcus Rashford at Man united?

Marcus Rashford at a past match

Marcus rashford has been a phenomemal player over the years for man united in both the league and in cup games but many will argue contrarily. He has been labelled a virus by some of the pundits and even his past coaches at the Manchester based club.Having rose up from the prestigious Carrington academy to gracing the lights of Old Trafford in Ucl nights, many might conclude the lad has been living the dream in his boyhood club.

At some point in time, sports fanatics and pundits across the footballing world have protested that he played a large part in the sacking of former Man united tactician Erik Ten Hag.His inability to bench Marcus or even take him off in some of the games that he clearly struggled in had alot of tongues wagging.During the last game that the dutch oversaw which Man united were beaten 2-1 by Westham ,Rashford was seen jogging back during a counter attack and this got alot of Man United fans agitated and cursing the forward.

The end of the road now seems so clear for the English international after he has  been snubbed a couple of times by the new Portuguese head coach Rubben Amorim who has since been quoted saying he his not sure if the forwad will ever play for the European giants again. The former Sporting Lìsbon tactician has suggested poor levels of training by the forwad has a reason for his omission from the match day squads. Many clubs are now on alert at Marcus Rashford’s situation considering the January transfer window is now open. Will man united sell him and for how much?We hope those questions will be answered soon.

Over 650,000 people sign the petition to ban racist fans for life from attending football matches.

On Tuesday in the UK the number of people who have signed the petition to ban fans who are found guilty of racism slurs for life from football stadia and matches has successfully surpassed the 650,000 mark.

This comes only days after three English national team players who are manchester united’s Marcus Rashford, Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka and would be Manchester United forwad Jadon Sancho were on the receiving end of some disgusting racist comments on their social media pages concurrently after missing their respective penalties in the Uefa Euro 2020 final.

This has also come in the wake of the vandalism of Marcus Rashford’s mural by unknown goons which has since then been repaired and love messages encrypted all over it. The forwad also sent a message on his social media accounts stating that he was proud of his family, friends and fans for standing with him and that he would never apologise for being black.

Boris Johnson the British pm has also been vocal in calling for action from these social media administrators. This comes in the wake of his ignorance after the English team was booed by their own fans for taking the knee before their euro game commenced. A number of former and current players including Manchester United legend and former defender Rio Ferdinand have also showed disgust for these racist comments and callled for action from the concerned parties saying that the current measures are not effective and new ones ought to be put in place.

Meet the 18 year old american sprinter set to beat records at the 2020 Olympics

The 17-year-old Florida native announced himself as one of the rising stars in U.S. track and field Sunday, finishing third in the men’s 200-meter final at the Olympic trials in Eugene, Oregon to qualify for the Tokyo Olympics.

A would-be rising senior in high school, Knighton figures to be one of the youngest athletes on Team USA this summer, where he will not only compete but also have a legitimate shot at winning a medal.

He is believed to be the youngest American man to make the Olympic track and field team since Jim Ryun in 1964.

Erriyon Knighton announced himself as one of the rising stars in U.S. track and field Sunday.

Knighton didn’t participate in track and field until his freshman year at Hillsborough High School in Tampa, Florida. His first major competition was the 2019 Florida state high school, where he placed fifth in the 200-metres.

Knighton said Sunday that he only started running track at the suggestion of his high-school football coaches. Additional training and a growth spurt helped lower his times on the track.

After parts of his sophomore and junior seasons were disrupted by the pandemic, Knighton decided at the beginning of this year that he was ready to turn pro. He signed a contract with adidas and hired well-regarded agents Ramon Clay and John Regis as his representatives. He was just shy of his 17th birthday at the time.

While some youngsters might seek out the spotlight, Knighton has largely avoided it so far in his professional career. His team has politely declined requests to interview Knighton before the Olympic trials, and the 17-year-old was all business while in Eugene.

After winning both his preliminary and semifinal heats – and beating reigning world champion Noah Lyles on both occasions – Knighton left the track without being interviewed by NBC, as is custom for the winner of a race. The move prompted some teasing from Lyles, who also competed at the Olympic trials as a teenager in 2016.
